Nanny Job in Mississauga, Ontario

Our nanny should be a specialist working in our family home, responsible for all tasks related to the caring of our children. Our nanny will serve as a loving, nurturing and trustworthy companion to our children. The main jobs and responsibilities would be: • planning meals for children • preparing meals and snacks for the children • supervising children\'s meals (breakfast, lunch, and snacks only) • cleaning and washing up after children\'s meals plus after any outdoor activity • dressing children appropriate to the child\'s activities • making sure the two oldest children get on and off the bus safely and on time • planning appropriate creative activities with the children • planning appropriate educational activities with the children • planning appropriate outdoor activities with the children • reading to and with the children • helping with homework • tidying children\'s bedrooms and play areas • reinforcing appropriate discipline for the children • implementing daily routines • doing light housework We would like our nanny to have the following: • high school diploma • further training in child care and development such as a formal nanny training program, early childhood classes and/or in-service training • proven child care experience with references • First Aid and CPR certification We would also like our nanny to have the following competencies: • flexibility • adaptability • ability to multitask • emotional maturity • good judgment skills • planning and organizing skills • stress tolerance • high energy level My son has down syndrome.
