Nanny Job in Thornhill, Ontario

Hello Caregiver! We are looking for a full-time caregiver/housekeeper for our 3 school-aged girls, ages 11, 8 and 8. We are a nice, caring family with 3 busy, active kids. We require care Monday to Friday, from approximately 7:30am to 5/5:30pm. On occasion, we will require some flexibility in these hours, but this is not a regular occurrence. We are not looking to sponsor someone at this time. The right individual will be very organized, able to manage the household duties when the kids are at school, and able to handle the needs of school-aged children. We would also like someone who is able to speak and understand English well. The job involves the following: Every Morning: - Make sure the kids do what they need to do to get ready for school (they are not babies and are capable of doing this on their own, but require supervision to make sure it happens!), pack lunches (3 days per week), and give the kids breakfast. - Kids walk themselves to school While Kids are in School: - Housekeeping: making beds, tidying up, keeping a shopping list, etc. - Laundry (not every day) - Full clean once a week - Prepare a simple meal, or prep food to be cooked (3 to 4 times per week) After School: - pick up kids from school (less than a 5 minute walk from our house) - provide snack for kids - manage playdates (not every day) - get the kids ready for activities when necessary - remind kids to get started on homework We are very flexible with your time while the kids are in school and will be happy to work out a routine with you that will work for all of us!
