Nanny Job in Calgary, Alberta

Hello there! We are looking for a loving and responsible nanny to become part of our family and form a special bond with our two children. Our children are very energetic and affectionate individuals who require someone who is equally energetic, patient and genuinely loving. We want to find the best fit for our family for a long term position with us therefore we are seeking someone who truly enjoys the job of being a nanny. Also, please be aware that this job is unique in that the schedule changes week to week and involves some evening shifts so individual must be flexible. For example, sometimes the individual will have to work Friday and/or Saturday evenings therefore will not have the weekend off. Therefore, if you are looking for a Monday to Friday 8am-5pm job, this position is NOT for you. We are looking for someone who is willing to work both day and evening shifts as is needed. Must be open to split shifts on occasion (working a few hours in the morning then break then work the rest of the hours later in the evening). In addition, this job involves housecleaning, laundry, and minor cooking in addition to watching the two children. Due to the nature of our work, we will be in and out of the house often therefore we need someone who is very good with playing with children so they will be able to occupy them even when we are in the house. We are looking to begin the paperwork asap for the live-in Caregiver Program but the full-time shifts will begin in the Fall; the remainder of the summer will consist of periodic shifts to get acquainted with the children.
