Nanny Job in Calgary, Alberta

Professional couple seeking nanny to provide full-time care for two active toddlers. Our nanny will be a trusted companion to our children, while also helping keep our home organized. We are an open, welcoming family and are looking forward to finding the right person for the job, who will be an important part of our children’s lives and support their development. Main duties description: • Supervise and care for children in our residence • Organize and participate in activities such as games, crafts, reading and outings to provide amusement and exercise • Oversee children's activities, such as meals and rest periods • Change diapers and dress children • Instruct children in personal hygiene and social development • Tend to the emotional well-being of children • Discipline children according to the methods requested by the parents • Plan, prepare and serve meals for children • Perform other light housekeeping duties • Maintain a safe and healthy environment in the home • Assume full responsibility for household in absence of parents; • Keep records of daily activities High school equivalent diploma and at least one year relevant experience is required. Anticipated Start Date: 1 April 2018 Location: Edgemont - The job is full-time, average of 32-44 hours per week, Monday to Friday. - Days off: Saturday and Sunday. - 2 weeks paid holidays. - Salary is $15/hour.
