Nanny Job in Toronto, Ontario

We are looking for a compassionate and enthusiastic Nanny to provide a safe, caring, nurturing and stimulating environment for a one year old girl and a one year old boy. Job Details • Begins August 24, 2015 • Monday – Friday, 8am – 6pm • Childcare will rotate between 2 residences. Both homes are located within easy TTC access (Home #1 near Islington station, Home #2 near Old Mill station) Main Responsibilities • Supervise the children’s activities at all times • Plan and prepare healthy meals for, and feed, the children • Plan and lead educational activities, including daily reading, with the children • Play with the children, including daily outdoor play time • Plan and accompany children on stimulating outings (Utilizing drop in centers, local parks, and registered classes) • Supports our philosophy of zero screen time (No TV, iPad, or cell phones around the children) • Put the children down for afternoon naps • Change diapers • Perform housework related to child care, including cleaning up after meals and tidying play areas Qualifications and Requirements • 5 plus years experience caring for children • Training in early childhood education preferred • First aid training and child and infant CPR • Authorization to work in Canada • English proficiency • Reliable, honest, and trustworthy • Physical ability to care for a young child • Ability to plan, organize, and multi task with minimal supervision • Glowing references
