Nanny Job in Vancouver, British Columbia

We are looking for a patient and caring individual to provide full-time, live-out nanny support for our two children- son age 3 and daughter 11 months to start August 2015 for at least a year. Our ideal nanny is personable, bright, loving and nurturing. This person would also be thoughtful and considerate and excited to bring curiosity and excitement into our children\'s lives. Major Responsibilities Create a stimulating, nurturing and safe environment for the children Supervise the children\'s activities at all times Plan and prepare healthy , home cooked meals and snacks for the children Put the children down for naps Change diapers and help with potty training Perform light housework related to childcare, including washing the children\'s clothes, cleaning up after meals and tidying play areas Play with children Take daily walks and outings to parks, community center, library, smart start program, Pick up and drop off 3 year old at preschool two days a week Plan and lead education activities, including reading to children Job Qualifications & Requirements Minimum 2 years experience as a childcare provider for children of similar ages First aid & CPR training Ability to work in Canada Excellent English language skills; another language an asset No criminal record Reliable, trustworthy and honest Positive work references required Driver\'s license is an asset Hours Monday - Friday 8:00 a.m to 5:00pm
