Nanny Job in Toronto, Ontario

Seeking a predominantly full time (4 days a week from 8am to 5:30pm) live out nanny to provide high-quality, personalized and customized childcare in our family’s private home located in Etobicoke. Nanny to provide care for one female child age one for a 6 month time period. Sample duties and responsibilities may include but are not limited to: •Creating a nurturing and stimulating environment •Meeting the child’s social, emotional and physical needs •Providing age-appropriate activities (limiting TV) •Folding and putting away child’s laundry •Bathing and Dressing child •Assisting with self-care and hygiene, (ex. diapering and oral care) •Disciplining the child, when necessary and in accordance with our parenting principles •Reading to the child •Keeping the child’s bedroom and toy room organized and tidy •Preparing nutritious meals and snacks •Returning the house to the condition it was in upon arrival (i.e. Light Housekeeping) •Instilling good manners and a sense of responsibility •Taking the child on age-appropriate outings (nice to have) Job qualifications and prerequisites: •Caring, Dependable, Responsible, Honest and Trustworthy •Can work independently •At least 2 years of previous nanny experience •Experience caring for newborns (toddlers, preschoolers, or teens) •Good health •Excellent, verifiable references •Current first aid and CPR certification •High school graduate •Prefer degree in early childhood education •Valid driver’s license and prefer someone with or access to vehicle •Clean background check If interested please contact Suzie via email anytime at [email protected].
