Nanny Job in Ottawa, Ontario

Hello, We are looking for a Francophone speaking nanny for a \"Nanny-share\" beginning in late August. The position is full-time and will most likely be for a 3 year period. Our son will be 14 months old by late august. Basic Job Qualifications and Requirements - University or college graduate - Experience caring for children - Training in early childhood education is preferred [ECE certification or currently working towards one] - First aid training and child and infant CPR - Driver’s license (preferred, but not a requirement) - Authorization to work in Canada - English proficiency. Francophone mandatory. Spanish speaking would be a bonus! - Reliable, honest, and trustworthy - Physical ability to care for a young child Major Responsibilities - Create a stimulating, nurturing, and safe environment for the children - Prepare meals and feed, the children - Place the children down for naps - Be willing to use a baby carrier - Change cloth diapers - Perform housework ONLY related to child care, including washing the children’s clothes, cleaning up after meals, tidying play areas. In short, just try to tidy up as you go along.
