Nanny Job in Calgary, Alberta

I'm an
Individual
Hello, I am currently on maternity leave, and will be going back to work in February 2015. My husband and I are both shift workers.....I do 12 hour rotating days/nights and my husband does mornings/afternoons Mon-Thurs. We are in search of a P/T, live-out Nanny who will be able to accommodate our \"all over the board\" schedule. Our schedules make it impossible to put our children in a standard day home or daycare. We are the proud parents of 2 beautiful children. Our daughter will be 4 years old in February, and our son will be 1 year old in January. They are both happy, hilarious, joyful children who get along with pretty much anyone. Full of life and energy, they will keep you laughing all day long. Due to my rotating shifts, there will be months when more hours are required, and months where way less hours are required. As it stands, hours can range anywhere from 34 hr/mo up to 87 hr/mo. Possible shifts will be Mon-Thurs, with hours roughly looking like this: 0500-160... or 0600-150... or 1330-183... or 1700-233.... Some weeks you will have 3 shifts, other weeks you won\'t have any. We will have the schedule for the year in advance for you, so you may book other jobs easily around our schedule. The desired Nanny will require a vehicle, as my daughter does attend Pre-school and will need to be dropped off and picked up when your shift lands on a school day during the school hours (so, it won\'t be every shift). We will request light housekeeping to keep things in order in the home, plus some meal preparation on the shifts when it is required. We are looking for someone who is punctual, honest, caring, patient, has a sense of humor and a lot of energy to keep up with our crazy little monkeys! We know this is a lot to swallow......we have been stressing on how to handle back-to-work for me, and it is quickly approaching. No day home/daycare take children at 0500, or let them stay until 1830......let alone into the night. We thank you for taking the time to read our \"ad\", and look forward to hearing from those who are interested in taking care of our munchkins. :)
