Nanny in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan

Hello families! My name is Laura and I am 31 years old. I have most recently worked as a Team Leader in the disability support field, but I'm looking to get back into nannying as I do miss working with children! I have many years of childcare experience, including 2 years of full time nannying (and still provide care for the family on a casual basis). I have been babysitting since I was 12, as well as a variety of volunteer positions working with children including teaching Sunday school, leading girls club and Jr youth group. I am comfortable and have experience with newborns and up, but my main experience is with ages toddler/preschool/early elementary. I enjoy planning crafts and educational activities (I'm a big fan of pinterest!), taking trips to the library or other outings and especially spending time outside. I love to bake and cook, especially with little helpers! I am also willing to do some light housekeeping besides tidying up after the children during down time, as well as things like getting groceries, running errands, and laundry. I have my class 5 driver's license with my own reliable vehicle, my first aid/CPR, as well as other various professional trainings in the area of disability support, some including medication administration, MANDT (de-escalation/crisis cycle), and Gentle Teaching. I am very COVID conscious, I follow all public health orders, keep my bubble small (when allowed) and will be getting the vaccine as soon as I am able to. I'd prefer fulltime weekday daytime hours, but my availability is very flexible. I am also open to various nanny share situations (my previous nannying position was out of one family's home, and 2 other families brought their children to that home to be cared for by myself, totaling up to 5 toddler/preschoolers at a time). I am also very much open and interested in caring for children with disabilities. My hourly rate is $17/hour, however I am open to discussion and the possibility of a salary rather than an hourly rate. I look forward to hearing from you!
