Nanny in Vancouver, British Columbia

Hi there! How are you? I am a nanny and certified Preschool teacher with over eight years experience. I have just returned from teaching internationally and have been living and working in Vancouver as a nanny in the Mount Pleasant/ Hillcrest area. I am currently at the end of my contract and looking to move back to Toronto/ Niagara. I have first aid, ECE and Montessori training, as well as glowing references and a wealth of knowledge (especially from travelling all over the world). By the same token, I am always eager to learn new things and adapt quickly and easily. My favorite part about being a caregiver has to be a child's sense of wonder. I love to see how they become emergent readers for example...and how they learn and grow. Helping with meal preparation, homework and getting the children to daily activities is never a problem. I will help around the house (and get the kids to help too). Together we will work towards developing fun and new things for the children to do. In turn, you see how some very simple activities develop a great learning foundation, especially for those youngsters entering school soon!
