Nanny in St. Albert, Alberta

I am a 3rd year student at the University of Alberta, in Biological Sciences. I began babysitting children for my mother’s friends when I was 12. I have volunteered as an instructor’s assistant at the swimming pool, and completed a Level 1 aquatic instructor certification. My mother is a kindergarten teacher. When I am off school, I often lend a hand there if she is short on help. I have some experience with autistic and Down syndrome children. While it is limited to within a classroom, I would be comfortable and confident in caring for one outside of the classroom, if some help and guidance is initially provided.
