Nanny in Calgary, Alberta

I am interested in applying for the position. I have had the experience of working with all ages and groups of children. I have spent the last three to years working with children in crisis. I am currently working full time at a daycare and am looking for weekend care. I have also been a nanny of infant twins who were supported by a variety of social services. These services also included interventions with young parents. I was quite comfortable dealing with a variety of agencies and programs for this family. I have completed my Level 3 in ECE. I also have a recent police check and First Aid training. I have been an Assistant Director in a childcare centre witch i had responsibility managing staff, writing documents, taking payments and registration. I also have experience working with the Windows programs. I have knowledge of working with special needs children. I have worked with children with Downs Syndrome, Autism, FAS, severe developmental delays, behavioural issues, family issues and trauma. During my time working with children, I did weekly observations and documentation on the children and developed appropriate programming for them based on their interests. I have had 20 years experience working in the childcare field; I have had the opportunity to work with all ages and abilities as meeting and assiting the requirements that licensing and accreditation. I don’t drive but am very comfortable using transit.
