Jade Lucas was a delight to work with. She was always on time and ready to work with a smile. Jade interacted with the children in a developmentally appropriate curriculum. She was great at observing the children and meet their individual needs. Jade was a great at implementing the programming and adding fun input into expanding programming. I had the pleasure of working with Jade when we went on a community development project in Guatemala. The premise of the trip was to provide collaborative support to an impoverished school within Aldea El Novillero. In addition to manual work, another major task was to provide English lessons to the school age children, and play with small kids in the nursery. In both these areas I was working with Jade, her approach was warm and very welcoming. She truly loved interacting with the children and came up with creative ways to teach English using TPR. Jade is passionate and very charismatic around children, which makes them feel special and very comfortable in her presence.

Jade participated in a community service learning trip to Guatemala that I organized and led. Among many candidates who applied to take part in the experience, Jade was an immediate choice for myself and other interviewers. She was positive, eloquent, mature for her age and showed sincere empathy. We made an excellent choice, and she was an invaluable member of the team. Her enthusiasm and passion for working with the children in the village we stayed in was contagious. She was professional and personal at the same time; she showed unwavering kindness, and was filled with ideas of how to engage and communicate effectively with the kids, despite a number of challenges including language and socio-economic and cultural barriers. The kids adored Jade, and she managed to teach them everything from English sentences, to educational games and activities, to a real understanding that although we all come from different backgrounds, we are all people and can teach each other important lessons. I would highly recommend Jade for any position, especially one that involves working with young people. She is inspiring.

Jade is an incredibly conscientious child care worker. She demonstrates a real affection for the little ones that she gets to work with and is always looking out for them. She is especially proud to foster a healthy and active environment, always the first to suggest a trip to the park or a healthy meal idea that's also appealing to kids! Jade is a very responsible and genuinely loving nanny and I would recommend her to any family!

I have know Jade Lucas since our first year of University. In those five years, she has proven herself to be one of the kindest, most compassionate and reliable people on this planet. She is kind of the person who will show up to help out with a huge smile on her face and with an infectiously calm, cheerful demeanour.
