Hello, my name is Nevine El Rayes. I am Lebanese, currently living and working in Lebanon in a Garderie with children ranging from 1 1/2 years old to 4 years old. I have 2 adult children. I speak fluent English, Arabic and I am able to understand and communicate in basic French. I have a BA in Early Childhood education and I have worked in preschools as well as worked to train young ladies to become caregivers. This included teaching how to bathe and change children, feeding children, how to take care of sick children and to be aware of behaviourial changes in children as well as how to react. I love working with children. I am very patient and I am able to adapt to cater to each child's individual needs. I understand that each child needs to be nurtured emotionally and psychologically and needs to receive unconditional love. I am skilled in resolving conflicts not only between children but also among parents and children if conflict may arise. I ensure that your children's needs are fulfilled in a clean and safe environment. I will encourage your child to overcome important milestones such as walking, talking, reading and writing as well as to become independent by instilling a sense of self discipline; to feed and dress themselves, to clean up after themselves. This can be done in an enjoyable manner such as playing games or singing songs. I will also prepare food, baths, wash and mend their clothes and administer medication when necessary. I plan to keep a daily journal to inform parents of the day's avtivities and progress. This will also include any personal, emotional, physical and social achievements or obstacles. I aim to instil confidence in all aspects of your child's life in order to equip him/her with the ability to handle day to day activities, not only in their early or late childhood but in the future. I am good with pets of all types such as dogs, cats, birds and fish and small rodents. I will feed them and teach your child the best way to care for their pets as it will help to create a sense of responsibility for your child. It also allows them to bond with animals and become more compassionate and sensitive towards them. I will also do light housework, however my number one priority are the children.
