My name is Cayden and I am an extremely trustworthy individual who has much experience working with children of all shapes and sizes. Being a positive role model is something I hold dear to my heart and I hope that I can make an impact on the children I have had the pleasure to work with! I have both a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communication Studies from Wilfrid Laurier University, and a Social Service Worker diploma from Seneca College. For the past 8 months I have been volunteering as an educational assistant at a school within the York Region District School Board. I also have several years experience working in recreation and leisure in a camp setting. This position has given me the opportunity to work with a range of children and youth varying in age and development. In my role as Summer Camp Director, my responsibilities included planning, implementing and supervising the delivery of community programs for children aged 6-12. I am responsible for recruiting and overseeing summer, winter and March break camp program staff, as well as ensuring their duties are adequately met. Furthermore, I also have experience teaching university aged students. As an undergraduate Instructional Assistant, my duties included preparing weekly tutorials for students as well as grading all tests and assignments and providing guidance to students wherever necessary.
