Nanny in Ottawa, Ontario

I am an extremely outgoing, loving and caring individual who has worked with children from the time I can remember! Over the years, my love for working with children had expanded from my neighbourhood babysitter to roles such as a camp counsellor with The City of Hamilton and City of Ottawa, and the Boys and Girls Club of Hamilton, and to Child and Youth Worker with the YMCA. I have also participated and volunteered for various programs with the BGC of Hamilton and Ottawa, and worked as a youth mentor for troubled teens. Recently I have been volunteering at Woman's Shelters and Wesley Urban Ministries! I love to watch children develop and flourish and maintain a strong relationship with the families well after I am no longer working for them. I love arts and crafts (I always picked this over barbies as a kid), playing sports (you name it I love it), anything to do with adventure (Ottawa has so much to offer! I love exploring outdoors, and getting kids involved in a healthy and active lifestyle!) and Water!! (I love the water, swimming has always played a big role in my life and I am a very strong swimmer!). I love cooking and baking (cookies are my speciality, and I know how much children love to get involved with cooking, because who doesn't like eating a little bit of the batter and getting messy more than kids?!) I am studying communications at the University of Ottawa and I am hoping to one day become a lawyer! I am a competitive bodybuilder (I compete with the Ontario Physique Association in Woman's Figure) so an active and healthy lifestyle is a huge part of my life and I love to share that knowledge with kids!
