Nanny in Toronto, Ontario

Hi, my name is Eithne, pronounced Etna or Ethna and I am a nanny looking for a job in the midtown Toronto area. I am in my 40's and I live just north of TO in North York, the Yonge and Finch area. I am a landed Immigrant and have been legally and gainfully employed in Canada for 20 years. I am very experienced in my field with all age ranges, from newborn to early teens. I do not drive but am very comfortable on public transport and am well versed in transporting children to programmes and appointments via this method. I am trained in practical nursing, (hands on practical application of basic nursing principals) and Montessori discipline. I have looked after many different types of children ranging from special needs (mild forms only) to very stereotypical children to gifted. I enjoy children on many levels and find that they enjoy me too. I love working with children in all its myriad forms, from Summer Camps, to Daycares to nannying. I enjoy creating a safe, warm and nurturing environment for children to thrive in. I do not do housework other than keeping children's rooms neat and tidy, children's laundry and general maintenance of heavy traffic areas that the children frequent, i.e. playrooms, kitchen after meals etc. I have a lot of experience in the kitchen and enjoy cooking so I have no problem with meal preparation or cooking and baking projects with children.
