To Whom It May Concern If you were to look at my resume closely you will see that I have an extremely varied backround as an educator with over 25 years of experience; a politician that managed budgets, staff and volunteers; and as an integration aide with 11 years experience working with special needs/behavioural/drug addiction/socially-emotionally abused adolescents as well hundreds of “normal” adolescents. I have a lot to offer and do believe that I could be a valuable asset to your home. I have had the good fortune in all of my work experiences to work with some of the best professionals that have enriched and strengthened my knowledge, sharply honed my skills. I am a hard working person with a very strong set of values when it comes to working with children, parents and staff members. I am a solution based person that is accustomed to being able to think outside of the box, problem solve, and put forth new and or improved upon and constructive methods I have great leadership and mentoring qualities and have always had a gift for bringing the best out of people. Most importantly I am a mother that has raised two beautiful successful daughters. My daughters were provided with a very stimulating open ended rich environment that fostered hands on learning about themselves and the world around them. A typical day in the life of my children always included being read to, art, music, daily outdoor play, playing games, learning how to cook/bake, socializing with other children. All of these invaluable experiences build language, cognitive/critical , math and problem solving skills as well as fostering positive self-esteem which is essential to any child of any age to lead a happy, productive well rounded life, which really as any parent wants for their child.
