Nanny in Toronto, Ontario

Hi, my name is Melissa Joy and I am a student currently enrolled at Ryerson University in collaboration with George Brown College for the Early Childhood Education BA program. I have an updated Vulnerable Police Check as well as a CPR Level C certificate. I have several experiences working with children such as working part-time at GoodLife Fitness' child minding centre as well as completing two placements at a TDSB public school and at a childcare centre during my undergrad. During my first placement on November-December 2015, I worked at the Wellesley Childcare Centre in the Toddler room. I moreover recently completed my second placement at Rose Avenue Public School as a student teacher and Early Childhood Assistant in their junior/senior Kindergarten class. During my time at Rose Avenue Public School, I was responsible for taking my Kindergarten class on school trips such as the Wizard of Oz Musical and Ontario Science Centre. I was also responsible for creating activities and lessons everyday that were developmentally appropriate. I am looking for a full-time summer job to further develop my personal and professional growth, and I feel like I would be a great candidate as your nanny.
