Dear Family, My name is Monique and I am a 22 year old student in fourth year at Trent University. I would love the opportunity to work with you and your family and assist you in childcare. I believe I would provide a supporting and positive atmosphere for your family and provide exceptional care. I am a very fun-loving person and really enjoy spending my time around people and experiencing new things. I would like to work as a nanny because I would love the opportunity to expand my experience in childcare. I plan to be elementary school teacher and this would provide me with an excellent opportunity to showcase my skills and further improve them. I think that my creativity, sense of imagination and responsibility would allow me to provide excellent care for your children. I have worked previously as an Au Pair, student teacher and a coach and in a leadership position with children. From April 2015 to August 2015 I worked as an live in Au Pair in Vancouver for a family with two young boys under the age of four. I have coached beach and indoor volleyball for about 8 years and I have had a cumulative of 35 days working as a student teacher in a classroom. I also worked at Trent Excalibur summer day camp for the last 2 summers! I am also first aid and CPR certified. I am currently enrolled at Trent University in Peterborough in the concurrent education program, my major is Geography and I am minoring in Psychology and one day hope to become a teacher! I am also very involved with my school and have volunteered to help with orientation week in 2014, 20... and 2016 and I live an active lifestyle, including being a member of my universities varsity volleyball team during the school year.
