Nanny in North Vancouver, British Columbia

Hello, my name is Lauren :) I like to think of myself as kind, creative, energetic and responsible. I love the outdoors- hiking, swimming, or even just enjoying the trails in Vancouver. I am 25 and am currently on a year of intermission from completing my Masters in Occupational Therapy with a focus in pediatrics. I grew up and live in North Vancouver (Edgemont Villge) and have always loved working with kids. Currently I am looking to offer help part-time, with the possibility to move to more. I am looking for families who are looking for someone to assist with their childcare needs while you are at work, running errands, or if you just need some extra hands at home. I am flexible if there are times on weekends where you may need me. I also have my full drivers license and a vehicle if necessary. I love working with kids of all ages and I am comfortable with infants/toddlers, multiple children (or twins etc.), and children with additional needs. Experience: Over the years I have gained a heap of experience working with children Full Time live out Nanny: 2 years fo two families with two children (ages 1.5 and 3), two children (ages 1 and 5). Au pair in Australia: 5 months for twin 2 year old girls Family support worker: 1 year for a family with four children, primarily caring for a child with cerebral palsy Part-time Nanny/Babysitter: 10 years for many, many families My responsibilities in the past have varied from, getting the kids up and ready for school or activities, to planning outings to places like the aquarium, to meal prep for dinner or just playing games at home. My main focus is to be as much help as I can helping with the kids, but I understand that having fun can make a mess from time to time! So I am happy to help with light house cleaning, laundry, meal prep, toy clean up etc. where needed.
