Nanny Job in Vancouver, British Columbia

We are two next-door neighbour families a with lively, creative, social 4-year-old boy and 4-year-old girl and a happy, engaging 17-month-old boy between us. Our kids are best buds and better together than apart :). We would like to nanny share between the two houses. We live in the hip, family-friendly area near Gray's Park (Fraser & 28th) in Vancouver. We are close to a few parks, many family drop-ins, Fraser and Main Streets, major bus routes, and have a playroom and a large grassy backyard with trampoline and neighbourhood kids to keep the kids entertained and busy! Our 4-year-old boy is a thoughtful, chatty, energetic kid who loves to hang out with other kids, play with cars/trains, ride his bike and read/tell stories. Our 4-year-old girl is a social, creative, expressive kid who loves all of the above plus ride her scooter and play make-believe. Our 17-month-old is a smiley guy who loves to be part of the gang, eats well and is an excellent napper in his crib. The older kids attend preschool (short walk) 3 mornings per week and our little guy has music class (short bus ride or drive away) on one of those mornings. We are looking for a live-out full-time caregiver 7:30-4:30 starting at the beginning of November. Applicant must be experienced, reliable, trained in infant/child first aid, and comfortable with learning to use an epi-pen in case of allergies. Early Childhood Education or nanny experience is required. The position would begin by November 1st. Meal preparation includes snacks and easy lunches for kids only. Housecleaning includes cleaning up after eating and tidying toys as needed only.
