I'm offering a program where children are given the chance to be around new people and learn new things in an environment that they are not exposed to on a daily basis and is a wonderful way to keep children occupied in a way that helps them continue learning during the summer holidays. I work for WRDSB school board and I'm very excited to be offering this unique opportunity for you child during the summer months when I'm off work. About me: During my practical experience in Toddler, Pre-School, Full Day Kindergarten setting and Montessori School, I have developed skills to provide each child with a unique learning experience. I treat children as individuals and with the resourcefulness that I have I can provide each child with a learning experience that benefits their individuality and a curriculum that benefits their needs and interests. During my study I became very familiar with the professional documents such as ELECT, How Does Learning Happen, Child Care and Early Years Act, which help me plan activities that are developmentally appropriate and meet curriculum goals as required. I’m passionate about children, driven and enthusiastic to make a positive difference in their lives and help them accomplish optimal learning and development. With high energy and a good sense of humor, I can make learning seem fun and spontaneous while promoting children’s natural curiosity and a drive for knowledge. I have excellent communication skills. I’m able to communicate with children on their level but also, communicate progress, performance and achievement to their families. I easily collaborate with my colleagues and parents and understand the importance of relationships and confidentiality.
