Nanny in Winnipeg, Manitoba

Dear potential family, I would like to start by telling you a little about myself. My name is Samantha and I am 24 years old. I am an honors graduate from the Culinary Arts program at Red River College. My current certifications include: First Aid/CPR (infant and child included), Food Handler, WHMIS, Fire Safety and a Certificate of Professionalism in Culinary Arts. During my enrollment at Red River College I not only excelled in my Culinary Lab courses but also in college level business and computer courses such as Business Communication, Human Behaviour and Computer Applications (Microsoft Office). I have been working with children since I was a young teenager. I started by volunteering at the local church in the nursery and providing my assistance in the F.A.S.T. program at Wayoata School. After I graduated high school I started working as a lunch supervisor at Sun Valley Elementary. Most recently, I worked for a wonderful family as their nanny. I provided the two children (now 9 and 12) with balanced meals, activities and transportation. I genuinely enjoyed their company and it was a great loss when I was told my services were no longer needed. Currently I work very casually (1-2 weekends a month) as a Disney Princess for children’s parties or events. The company is called Winnipeg Princess Parties and More and I work to make children’s birthday parties/events extra special by playing games, doing crafts, princess makeup, etc. My experience in child care and event planning has formed me into an extremely personable individual.
