Dear Local Families, I spent three years in London putting my head in the books and volunteering in different branches of the caregiver field. After graduation I accepted a position in Toronto as a live-in nanny. During my time there I soaked up the big city life, skipping, bouncing, biking, down the streets of different communities with one of the coolest 8 year olds around. After 2 years in Toronto I was beginning to magnetize back to my old college stomping grounds. Now I am back in London and ready to work hand in hand with a family who needs a little extra help! I am quick on my feet, patient, creative, wacky, sensative, and totally passionate about working with youth. I have an eagerness to learn, a drive to make change, and above all an adoration for kids and the endless potential they carry in their minds and their hearts. Progress and development isn\'t just for kids. Though I may not be growing any taller and I don\'t have to buy new pants and shoes every other month, working alongside budding children reminds me to never stop setting goals and making my own personal changes. The opportunity to be a role model for youth feels like an honour and certainly is a joy that never tires.
