Dear Interested Families; I would like you to know that I am a very caring empathic person. I have known since I was 13 that I wanted to peruse a career in helping people of all ages, especially children. While I am very educated around the development and care for children, it is my number one priority that when children are not with their parents they are with someone who they can trust, build a rapport with and who will keep them safe. I am a very patient person, and love to teach children (adolescents and adults) new things. I understand how difficult it can be to leave your children with someone you do not know, however I would love the chance to meet so you to get to know me. I also live out in the country, however I am willing and eager to travel to the city for work! I have worked with children from infant to adolescence. I have worked for children that have disabilities and typically developing. Providing a caring, safe and structured environment based on the developmental needs of the two children. Implementation of recreational and creative activities to ensure a balanced well being and overall happiness in each individual child while ensuring positive relationship skills were cultured. Responsible for cooking, maintaining schedules, housekeeping duties and ensuring basic needs were met. I have implemented numeracy and literacy through Learning through Play.
