Nanny in Halifax, Nova Scotia

Dear Family, I am a loving, humanistic nanny committed to providing the highest standard of care and compassion to children and their families. I have many years of babysitting experience and two summers of nannying experience, including care in the home: nutrition and meal management, interactive play and light house work provisions, and chaperoning out of home activities: swimming, picnics, and outdoor free-play. I have First Aid, CPR, and Bronze Cross certification, and have completed an honours degree in Community Planning from Dalhousie University focusing on the social aspects of neighbourhood planning. I am passionate about maintaining a balanced, healthy lifestyle. I have experience caring for young children, and mainly in the ages of 1 and 2-4 years old. Duties have included care in the home: preparing breakfast and lunches, light house work, and taking part in childre's activities, such as art and crafts, reading and outdoor play. I also have experience with out of home care, mainly in a local country club setting, where children are involved in swimming and outdoor free-play.
