Dear Families, in advance, thank-you for taking the time to read my profile! For years it has been a great honour and passion to be able to work with children of all ages and their families and caregivers. I have been lucky enough to work with children of various ages ranging from new borns through to teens. My work in day cares, after school programs and as a music teacher has allowed me to grow with many families and to develop a unique understanding of a variety of family backgrounds and ethnicities. As a previous owner of the award winning center Amazon Indoor Creative Playground, I have also been able to master behind the scenes administrative skills as well as implementing many teaching approaches, and developing new programs and classes for children at multiple developmental stages , these are just a few of the skills that I have fine tuned over the years. In addition to my work with children I am an avid musician and songwriter and have toured throughout the world as a jazz and classical trombonist. I hope very much that we will be able to arrange a time that we can meet and talk further about how we can work together to create a safe and nurturing team for our children. As a previous owner of a childrens indoor playground I have designed and run summer camps for up to 30 children (with additional staff), run caregiver and tot classes, cared for children in small and large groups, as well as teaching piano. Prior to owning a childrens business I worked in several daycares in infant, toddler, preschool and school age rooms.
