Nanny in Toronto, Ontario

I have been working with children since the age of sixteen including babysitting for family, members of my community and in a hotel environment including organising a 'kids club' for up to ten children at a time for guests at a hotel for special holidays. During University, I volunteered for two separate companies during University. I have worked with children in a creche, playschool and afterschool setting, including assisting children with their homework and allowing for ample recreational time. Since moving to Canada from Ireland on a working holiday visa I worked as a live out Nanny for a family looking after their one year old for a year from December 2014 to December 2015. For the month of January 2016 I am working with another family looking after their one year old until her preschool opens in February. I am creative and enthusiastic person who does their best to be empathic in every situation and always actively listens to what others have to say. I have a keen interest in assisting in positivity in others and helping people to find ways to improve their mental health. I am creative and have experience in dance, drama and music through both college and personal interests. I am First Aid and CPR Certified. I have worked with a child with an allergy and in the past I have instructed children on proper health and personal habits including composing and implementing a healthy eating plan for an establishment to assist in a healthier lifestyle.
