My name is Anastasija. I grew up in a very loving family. I worked at church as children's pastor and now currently working at a Childcare Center. I am convinced that children are God's special gift and taking care of them is a great privilege. Friedrich Froebel who was a German pedagogue, the founder of a modern education was right when he said that a teacher/babysitter ought to be a loving mother to the children. I strongly believe that love and care for the children will help children to feel appreciated, acknowledged and respected. The growing process of a child occurs best when learned in the environment of love and emotional security. Working with children for over four years, during Sunday school, it can be said that children engage better in activities and curriculum when they feel the friendly attitude of the teacher. I do not like see children play pointless games on the computer and spend hours in front of the TV; I want children to discover that the world is interesting, fun and exciting.
