Children are wonderful, and I believe in giving them the opportunities to grow creatively and curiously. I do have a lot of experience working with children fro various backgrounds, however, I have discovered one thing in all my experiences; that it does not matter where one comes from, but we all deserve and need love and care. And a good laugh. I have a constant smile on my face, and can easily share that with everyone I meet. I babysat from the time I was 12 years old, from infant and older. I volunteered in Peru for 6 months as an English teacher and worked in several different orphanages. I worked with children with major disabilities, with young women in a shelter for abused women, and in a orphanage for infants. I worked at a summer camp for the summer of 2013 working as a camp counsellor for children who came from economically disadvantaged homes. They were 9-13 years old. I have just always been surrounded by children since a young age. My mother always babysat young children, and my family worked with children with disabilities and cared for them in our home on occasion.
