Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years Security and Safety: Criminal record check Transportation/Travel Information: Valid driver's licence Personal Suitability: Judgement, Organized, Initiative, Client focus, Flexibility, Reliability Children's Ages: Kindergarten age (4 - 5 years), School age (6 - 12 years) Duties: Supervise and care for children in employer's own residence. Maintain a safe and healthy environment in the home. Oversee children's activities as instructed by employer. Take children to and from school and to appointments. Help children with homework. Bathe, dress and feed children, Keep records of daily activities and health information regarding children. Plan, prepare, and cook nutritious meals for children and perform light housekeeping and cleaning up after the children. Instruct children in personal hygiene and social development, Organize and participate in activities such as games, crafts, reading and outings. Play with children outdoors wearing proper clothing according to the season. Tend to emotional well-being of children. Perform other related duties as required. Additional Skills: Shop for food and household supplies for the children, Travel with family on trips and assist with child supervision and housekeeping duties, assume full responsibility for household in absence of parents, Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties. Specific Skills: Must have a flexible schedule and be available for morning and evening shifts as per employer's needs. Work Setting: Employer's home.
