Hi there! My name is Nicole and I am 27 years old. I am currently looking for a part-time or summer position with the right family. In 2017 I graduated with distinction from an Early Childhood Education diploma program (and carry an Early Childhood Educator certificate, a Special Needs Educator certificate, and an Infant Toddler Educator certificate) and decided to return to school in 2022 to finish my Bachelor's of ECE. I also have a full driver's license, am a licensed Child Passenger Safety Technician, and hold a First Aid Level C certificate. I have 10 years of experience working with children, including 4 years of full-time nanny experience. I have also previously worked as an Infant/Toddler Educator and Room Supervisor. From a young age I've adored working with children; planning stimulating activities for children and fostering a love of reading are two of my childcare passions. I have experience with children as young as 6 weeks to as old as 13, however, I prefer working with children under 3. My background is in developmental psychology and learning through play, however I have Montessori and Reggio-Emilia inspired training as well. Aside from tasks relating directly to the care of the child, I am willing to do light children-related housework (laundry, tidying children's rooms, organizing clothes etc.), errands, and meal prep if need be.
