Nanny Job in Calgary, Alberta

Seeking an energetic, warm and nurturing caregiver (nanny-babysitter) for children ages 3 and 6. This is a permanent full time 40 to 44 hours work week, $13.60/hour, NW community of Calgary. Duties: tend to emotional well-being of children; take children to and from school and to appointments Supervise and care for children; change diapers for infant and assist with toilet training; prepare and serve nutritious meals a day to children; organize, activities such as games and outings for children; maintain a safe and healthy environment in the home; keep records of daily activities and health information regarding children; instruct children in personal hygiene and social development; bathe, dress and feed infants and children; prepare infants and children for rest periods Qualifications: must be able to read, write and speak English fluently; minimum 7 months to 1 year experience in working and care for children required, relevant work experience with children 1-5 years of age; First Aid Certificate, mature and responsible person who can assume full responsibility for household in absence of parents Requirements: criminal record, driving abstract, references, must be able to take public transportation Effective interpersonal skills: flexibility (overtime hours, evenings, weekends, statutory holidays); team player; excellent oral communication; excellent written communication; judgment; reliability; organized, trustworthy, honest The resume must be forwarded by email to: [email protected]
