Nanny Job in Toronto, Ontario

Hello: My husband and I are looking for either a caregiver for our 8 month old daughter (at home all day), 3 year old daughter (at school all day), and 1 small Shih-Tzu dog. Nutrition is very important in our family, so meal preparation is a large part of the job. That includes having fresh fruits and vegetables always cut up for snacks, preparing all family meals (breakfast - smoothies for my husband , rice cereal and formula for my infant, oatmeal for my preschooler; lunch - fresh baby food puree, finger foods for my infant; dinner - whole family one meat/protein, one rice/potatoes, one vegetable). Similarly, our home is where we hang out most of the time, so we keep it in ship shape. We are very neat, tidy, and organized. We are a very busy family so this is a must. We spend as much time together as possible, but can only do that knowing the housework, laundry, food, etc. has been well taken care of. We want to invite someone to join our family who is like us. Detail oriented , with high standards, but at the same time, relaxed, happy, and cheerful. Also, the person has to have a strong will and exceptional ethics. We want to teach our kids to be independent and respectful - so that means standing your ground many times to discipline and ensure they pick up their own jackets, clean up after themselves, talk nicely. For the term, our current f/t nanny is going to be away for 2 months starting in March. So I need someone to replace her. She is prepared to coming back in May. Having said that, if we develop a really good relationship with someone, we would certainly consider turning this into a long term commitment. This is just a little bit about my family.
