I have been involved with children in one way or another since I was 11 years old )32 years!). I was the neighbourhood babysitter for multiple families, for friends of my parents, and even took over jobs from friends who didnt want to babysit. When I got a little older I worked for a baby-sittting agency for 5 years that provided babysitters to families daily, weekly, long term, and over nights. I then went on into homecare as a health -care aide and worked with adults and children of all ages and abilities. I have also successfully raised a daughter with my husband. Today I still work in homecare--again with all ages but more often with seniors. Children are a bright spot in my life and I have always been fascinated with them and the way they see the world and soak things in on a daily basis and how, no matter whats going on around us they can always smile and make me also. In my personal life I have many friends with kids that I care for. I also have friends with kids affected by adhd and FSD.
