My experience has been in after school care. I ensured the children were safe and clean, and I cooked, helped with homework and encouraged them in little trips outside or away from the house to keep them active. In addition to babysitting I have worked in elder care for an elderly woman with Alzheimer\'s, keeping her company, watching out for her safety, preparing meals, reading to her and generally making sure she had the care she needed. I also did some house cleaning. I have had enough experience that I am confident in my abilities approaching any situation and would be well suited and enjoy the opportunity to work in the field again.
