Nanny in Timmins, Ontario

Numerous babysitting jobs: Working with infant - school age children. My duties may include doing activities with the children, bringing them to organized events, sports, cleaning, cooking, bathing, and putting them to bed. Summer nanny: Working for a family with 6 children ranging from 6 months to 11 years of age. My duties included cooking, cleaning, bringing the children to sports, doing outdoor activities, crafts, occasional bathing and putting to bed, etc. Respite care: Working with children with developmental disabilities - I do respite care, mainly for children with autism. I pick them up from their home or from school and bring them out for special activities. In school work placements: I have worked in the elementary school setting on 4 different occasions and once in a high school. I worked mainly with children with learning disabilities, ADHD, ODD, etc. I did 1:1 learning support and reading programs, supervised the class during lunch hours, did recess programs, physio therapy, fine and gross motor programs, behavior support, etc. Muskoka Woods Sports Resort: I was employed at Muskoka Woods for 4 summers, 2 of which I did with children. I worked as a counselor for children ages 9-11. My duties included meal time with my guests, morning and evening cabin routines, making sure they were prepared for the day, evening game programs, bringing children to health care, etc. My last summer there I worked as a special needs counselor working 1:1 with a guest. My duties included, bringing them to their activities and participating with them, behavior support, meal time, evening routines, getting them involved with the other guests, etc.
