Nanny in Guelph, Ontario

My name is Iona Skye Howie and I am a young art student - turned nanny looking for the perfect kids to take care of while I take some time off school. I am 21 years old and have been living in Guelph for a full year now. I have quite a lot of experience working with young children from various activities over the years, such as teaching ballet classes, completing part of a high school co-op teaching art at the local Montessouri school, volunteering at French Immersion summer camps as well as a fair bit of babysitting. Most of my experience however has been with younger children within the range of 3-6 years. I get along very easily with kids and am confident taking charge with them when necessary, but my main goal is to provide a caring and responsible playmate for your children to spend time with, as well as a good role model! I am not a huge supporter of television and would infinitely prefer to engage children in more creative activities, like reading, listening to music, making art (especially) and going outside to enjoy some fresh air, but I'm always up for some good cartoons. I follow a vegan diet so am accustomed to cooking and am more than happy to make healthy but tasty meals for your children if ever needed. I am punctual and reliable and have been very accustomed to taking a leadership role with younger children as I am the oldest of three in my family. As of now I have open availability and am preferably looking for a longterm placement.
