I have worked with children through volunteering jobs at the children's museum where i was a general volunteer, assisting children in creating crafts to take home and cleaning up quickly and effectively. Also, i currently volunteer at Marlene Street Community Resource Center every Thursday as a child minder, here i again work with children through playing games and creating crafts. I work with other's to help teach the children to share, and clean up after themselves at the end of play. My experience also comes from highschool where i did four years of family studies, learning to care for infants to toddlers. The different activities that can help the younger children with their motor skills. During this time my classmates and i ran a daycare, each day we created events and activities for the kids to have fun with for an hour or so a day. CPR certification is something that was acquired by me from school. I enjoy working with children, and enjoy the constant learning that comes with working with them. No matter what your going to learn something new, by working with the kids.
