Nanny in Vancouver, British Columbia

Hi, I am a 29 year old qualified Early Childhood Educator from Australia who is living in Vancouver from August 2017. I have 7 years experience working in an Early Childhood Education setting and another several years experience in nannying/babysitting and other areas of work caring for young children. I have a 4 year Australian University Degree in Early Childhood Education and Care (0-5 years). I am a fun and energetic person who is passionate about working with children and providing them with high quality care and education. I am a very nurturing and loving person and believe this is the most important part of a children's first 5 years of life, developing their confidence and sense of self. I love the arts (music, singing, art and crafts) and I love to get out of the house and explore the world. I am a singer, so it guaranteed that i'll sing to your children a lot. I am a big believer in fun and messy play and allowing children to explore and understand their world through their experiences and senses. I believe children are incredibly clever and have a lot to teach us adults if we just stop and listen to them. They are constantly learning and processing and I love being a part of the journey of watching them grow and learn. I have worked with children for most of my working life and I know that part of having children in your world means cleaning up after them too. I am more than happy to perform light cleaning duties, as well as cleaning up after myself of course. I can cook and perform other light household chores. I do have a license but will not have a car, at least for a while after I arrive, but i'm willing to get myself where necessary via public transport.
