Nanny Job in Calgary, Alberta

We are a professional couple looking for a caring, kind, responsible and experienced nanny to care for our two young daughters – a four-year-old and a one-year-old. You will be a nanny with at least three years experience in nannying and/or child care. Early Childhood Development background would also be considered advantageous. You must love children and be mature, reliable, trustworthy, punctual and well presented. You will be required to work weekdays from 7:30 a.m. – 5 p.m. with the occasional request for evenings/weekends. We are a non-smoking, pet free household and would prefer the same. Your responsibilities include: Preparing wholesome and healthy meals and snacks Putting the one-year-old down for naps Changing diapers and clothing, as well as washing and drying clothes as required Bathing the children, only if required Ensuring the four-year-old arrives and is picked up from to school on time, with all material and outdoor clothing required Playing with the kids outside and taking them for walks to near-by playgrounds Reading and preparing activities/crafts for children. There will be no TV during working hours. Some cleaning, general housekeeping, meal preparation where required. You will need a current First Aid certificate, Working With Children police check certificate and a current driver’s licence. A Certificate in Child Care will also be highly regarded. In return, you will be well treated and will receive fair and reasonable wage, including meals, have full use of the house, and be treated as one of the family.
