• HOURS REQUIRED TO WORK ARE MONDAY THRU FRIDAY AT A SET SCHEDULE JOB RESPONSIBILITIES (LIVE-IN OR OUT) My responsibilities and duties are those relating to child care, such as providing a loving and responsible care for the children of the family. This care includes, but is not limited to the following: MEALS – The preparation and serving of healthy breakfast and lunch to the children. In general, the meals should be a mixture of easy and made from scratch meals. All food will be provided by the parents. I will not be expected to prepare meals for any adult members of the household. Unless discussed. DRESSING – Including changing of diapers, assisting toddler in the bathroom and hygiene for all children. I shall ensure that children are properly dressed for all activities in which they are engaged and the weather they are exposed to. I will teach children personal hygiene to include: learning to dress themselves, potty training when needed, brushing teeth as well as aid them in learning to clean their messes when they are done playing or any activity. LEARNING – I will strive to teach children proper speech, the basics of counting, their ABC’s, shapes, colors, courtesy, sharing and neatness, as their development permits. NAP TIME – I will do my best to ensure the baby(s) receive their proper nap time each afternoon. RECREATION – I shall play with the children to encourage speech and personality development. In addition, I understand that there are times throughout the day when children need quiet time to play by themselves. I will ensure all playing is supervised and that children are never left unattended and without direct supervision. FIRM GUIDANCE – As nanny I will ensure that the children understand certain activities, as prescribed by the parents are forbidden. In no event shall children engage in activities which are deemed dangerous by the parent or myself. I also shall be firm but loving with the children. The children WILL NOT to be spanked or hit for transgression. Time-outs shall be used as a method for discipline. If required, I will discuss the need for behavioral modifications and suggested solutions with the parents. PRIORITIES – The parents recognize that the care for young children can be demanding. It is understood that on some days the schedule may not be adhered to, all chores may not be completed, or play area may not be cleaned up. Care and feeding of the children will always be the top priority. **** LIGHT CLEANING IS REQUIRED DAILY **** For cleaning, will be discussed further.
