Although the majority of my professional experience is in the administrative field, I have found my true vocation in the field of Early Childhood Education. I find childcare to be a challenging and rewarding career. I have had the opportunity to manage my own Preschool classroom and can attend to the needs large number of children at one time. In the classroom I provided programming that allowed the children to learn and explore their emerging skills while having fun. I am a mature woman and mother of one, with plenty of experience keeping a clean organized household, preparing tasty nutritious meals and planning fun activities for children. I have a keen eye for safety and have recently completed my Red Cross First Aide course as well as Food Safe. For the past year I worked as a Preschool Teacher while earning my Early Childhood Education certificate level 1, as well as completing the Red Cross First Aid course and Food Safe. I cared for up to 10 children at a time as well as providing programming and comprehensive supervision during class, special events and fieldtrips. Prior to that I provided childcare on a part time casual basis while raising my own child.
