I come from a supportive family that has always assured me that they have my back. We are a family of pet lovers with two Persian cats and a golden retriever, Kilo. I come from a large Italian family, which have giving the skills to provide for myself when I went away for university. I have been instilled with the ability to multi task when it comes to cleaning house and cooking dinner. My latest dinner party included 15 people and an assortment of dinner options. I have become the mom of my group of friends, always feeding everyone, offering advice, and just being there to listen to everyday problem. I came to Halifax in September 2009 to start my degree at Saint Mary\'s University. I am finishing my Bachelor’s degree with my final seminars in women\'s development and LGBT rights and history. My most recent employment at Saint Mary’s Residence Department has given me skills and confidence in all aspects of the work I do. This includes: positive contact with customers and coworkers, maintaining punctual completion of tasks, and having a keen eye for detail. When I graduated high school I did research into working as a nanny, however at the age of 18 I knew I was not prepared at such a young age. I had to be able to provide for myself before taking care of others. In two months I will be graduating, I am very excited to embark on a new journey after my wonderful years at SMU. I understand the responsibility, and dependability that is needed when being a nanny. I have my First Aid Certificate and I have taken self-defence.
