Nanny in Calgary, Alberta

Hello! I am seeking part-time work helping a family. I am looking for 4-6 hour shifts, 2-3 days a week. I am most interested in helping make your life run more smoothly-- I am a great "mother's helper", taking care of house hold tasks, meal prep, child care, running errands. I am a mother with a grown daughter, and I'm an experienced homemaker. I've been around children of all ages throughout my life, and I have also had paid work experience as a nanny for two different families. I love to listen to kids and engage with their interests at their level. I use every day experiences and foster learning through music, art, dance, food, reading, and fun conversation. While I am great with kids, I'd also like to help you with your household and life maintenance tasks so that you can relax with your baby or spend some time with your kids, and have everything else taken care of: meals, errands, school pick ups, laundry and tidying. I currently work as a self-employed organic meal prep cook, and I am running my own business part time. I have a lot of experience cooking for food allergies, including gluten free, dairy free, and egg free, and I know how to make practically everything from scratch, like stocks, dressings, sauces, yogurt, and delicious baking.
