Nanny in Toronto, Ontario

I'm an
Individual
Dear Private Family, I am looking for the right fit, just like you are. I am a teacher, a student, a sister, a daughter, a friend, a therapist, and a nanny. In every role I take on I work to inspire success, confidence and hope in children. I would love to see if I am the right fit to be your nanny. With my diverse experiences volunteering and teaching in a variety of demographics I have had the luxury to gain invaluable knowledge of many learning styles, along with teaching methods to better celebrate differences within and between people. I am dedicated to inspire life-long learners to discover and pursue their passions and potential and I commit myself to student well-being, safety, and success. My enthusiasm and open-mindedness has helped strengthen my adaptability, and my reflective nature is the foundation for me regarding myself as a life-long learner. I am currently furthering my education in Counselling Psychology (MA) to build upon my Autism and Behavioural Sciences with Algonquin College, Special Education Part 1 additional qualification to better support all students, and to continue my previous academic background including courses such as Classroom Management, Child Psychology, Diversity and Equity, and Teaching Methods. My desire to work with students to improve student achievement is based on the foundation of my deep care to develop confidence and hope in children. My character as well as devotion towards child development and lifelong learning is what makes me a great nanny. My personality will hopefully be what could make me your great nanny. This position needs someone who loves what they do, being ready to work with a sunny disposition, and an eagerness to meet challenges. I am confident that my experiences and personality compliment your efforts and demonstrate I am the ideal candidate to be a nanny with your family. Thank you for the consideration of my application and I welcome the opportunity to speak further with you about the possibility of meeting your family and working together on seeing if I am the right fit. Sincerely, Nicole Deeb Education and Training: Master of Arts in Counseling Psychology - Yorkville University (hopefully January 2022) Autism and Behavioural Science Graduate Certificate; Algonquin College (August 2015). 3... placement hours in both centre-based and home-based environments implementing child-specific Intensive Behaviour Intervention programming. 2014 Fall and 2015 Winter Term Dean's Honours List for outstanding academic achievement by demonstrating academic excellence in maintaining a grade point average of 3.96. Ontario Certified Teacher July 9, 2013; Registration Number: 640814. Bachelor of Arts (Psychology III); McMaster University (May 2012) Nicky has been and will always be such a great asset to any company she is employed with. I trained Nicky in the field of IBI therapy working with children ages 2 and up diagnosed with autism. Nicky was always ready and prepared for whatever obstacles came in her path. She was open minded, energetic and a pleasure to work with. Nicky would be absolutely perfect working with the children you have mentioned. She adapts programs and materials to suit whatever situation she is in. She is incredibly creative and always initiates fun and educational activities for the children she supported. There are so many things you could say about Nicky Deeb on a professional and personal level that execute and display her abilities and passion she has for what she does. - Victoria Quinn (excerpt from a recent testimonial of training supervisor at Hope Autism Services, Mississauga, Ontario) Nicky started nannying part time and then within a couple weeks she was nannying full time and even taking extra shifts as the family needed extra evening and weekend help and the little girl just loved Nicky! Nicky kindly and confidently fulfilled her role in the family's home. It was a single parent family where she needed to help the child from the moment she woke til the time she went to bed. This included all of her meals, baths, educational activities, naps and leisure. Truthfully it was a lot of responsibility and I was impressed how Nicky graciously picked up the work load and then incorporated special learning activities into her days. Nicky also initiated contact with a private school and helped her establish relationships with other kids and play groups to help prepare her for school. I have hired so many nannies for this family and I could not believe how different Nicky was from all of the others! Nicky went above and beyond. She sees needs and effectively problem solves, and makes a plan of action. If I could, I would hire her to nanny my daughter! - Marcella Kennedy (excerpt from a recent testimonial of family manager of a private family, Etobicoke, Ontario)
