Nanny in Halifax, Nova Scotia

I am looking for a full time nanny position (or a combination of part time positions) to begin early-mid September. With nearly a decade of experience working with children I take pride in the healthy, happy and mutually respectful relationships I've formed with dozens of children and families over the years. I strive to provide high quality care, engaging children in developmentally appropriate and fun activities, exploring the community we live in, taking field trips, being active and outdoors as much as possible. I believe in open communication, am polite and cheerful, hardworking and dedicated to early childhood care and development. Previous work experience with children and families includes as a private nanny, daycare teacher, casual babysitter, behavioural interventionist and respite care provider. I am also a mother to a delightful 6 year old boy. I have experience working with children with a variety of needs, including allergies/dietary restrictions, tube feeding, autism, ADHD, spina bifida and behavioural challenges. I have graduated from Mount Saint Vincent's Child and Youth Study degree, and hold a Level 3 child care classification. I have up to date training in Standard First Aid CPR/AED Level C and NVCI. In addition, I have taken training in PBS and ABA. I have a clean criminal record and child abuse registry.
