Nanny Job in Ottawa, Ontario

Hello! We are looking for a part-time nanny for our 18-month-old daughter (and occasionally our 4-year-old daughter as well, who is currently in school but will not be going back until mid-January as it is closed due to Covid). We are looking for a live-out, part-time nanny to work 4 days a week, for 3 hours every morning (somewhat flexible, but preferred schedule is 8:30 am-11:30 am). The salary is negotiable and depends on your level of experience, but will fall in the range of $15-20/hour. The duties of this position include: - Safe and reliable supervision of our child(ren), including planned educational, interactive, & creative activities in our home. We require that you take our child to play outside EVERY day at least for a bit unless it’s extremely harsh weather - Preparing snack/lunch for our child - Some housekeeping (tidying kitchen, tidying toys, etc.) -(Possibility for occasional dinner prep if you like cooking!) Qualifications: - Experience caring for young kids (preferably as a nanny) - CPR and First Aid training - Police check - Early Childcare Educator training/experience is an asset - References required - Bonus if you are a good cook, especially with vegetarian dishes! (We are not fully vegetarian but we eat meat-free most days.) We are in Orleans (Queenswood Heights area) and need someone to start ASAP. We are hiring a part-time nanny because we don’t want to put our child in daycare as we are worried about COVID. We are looking for someone who takes COVID seriously and takes appropriate precautions not only while working with us but also in their daily lives.
